Choosing a name for your pet is a very big deal so of course it took us a full week to name our new puppy! We went through a ton of names and lists and name generators and nothing fit. When our first dog, Benny (a silver Morkie), passed away, we were devastated. Us and our other dog Sebastian (Bagel) were missing our furry companion. A little over a month after the ordeal we were lucky enough to discover a new dog that we wanted to welcome into our home. We were so excited to bring her home we hadn’t even settled on her name yet. Plus, we wanted to meet her and see her personality before a name stuck.
After giving her a bath and cuddling her for hours, we sat around and went through the various names we were considering. Willow was a top contender but there was something that just felt… off. Luna was cute but such a popular name, and Daisy was sweet but didn’t really fit her personality. Finally, late one night, someone suggested “Tilly” and that was it! Something just clicked and we knew that was the one!
